A new client approached us who faced significant challenges caused by extensive levels of dust produced by their dried biomass pelleting process. Without dust control, the client was suffering unacceptable workplace contamination, as well as problems caused to machinery by dust ingress and complaints from neighbouring operations. Following a detailed consultation, our team designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a complete dust extraction system tailored to their exact needs.

Bespoke Design: We engineered a lightweight, custom designed dust containment hood for the primary tipping hopper, which was designed to take account of the hopper being mounted on load cells. This was done without compromising dust capture. The attention to detail ensures both functionality and effectiveness.

Precise System Engineering: Our team designed an intricate ductwork system, working around the existing complex plant machinery layout and steelwork structures, to overcome spatial limitations without affecting extraction or causing disruption to existing operations. 

Modern design, built in the UK with proven reliability: We manufactured and installed a modern reverse jet bag filter designed specifically for this application and utilising the most up to date and reliable components and proven filter media. The system now provides highly effective dust extraction across multiple points.
